| Burn Pile |
Went through an old burn pile to actually finally burn it all. In this pile I found old stuff from high school up through present day. I also encountered some notes around the time of the divorce, including the original letter I wrote Sarah when I left, and the note she wrote me after I left. Lisa looked at them and noticed that in the note Sarah wrote me, which was written more in diary form, she was talking about how the Sheriff had taken her rifle and then she wrote “Steve will be mad when he finds out I have to kill him.”
I don’t recall that threat from when she actually delivered the letter, but maybe I didn’t read it all the way through. Pretty weird, especially because nothing else in the letter is threatening. I ended up burning it all along with all the old documents I was burning (mostly financial stuff... geez I had more assets then than I do now!).
